Fairytale shoes

Hello again shoe lovers!

As I realize most of my readers are females I decided to dedicate this post to something we are all aware of- fairytales. Most of us are familiar with Disney’s “and lived happily ever after” animations about princesses and the ways they are finding true love. However designers are familiar as well.

I decided to look for shoes made to resemble Disney’s animations:

#1 Glass slippers

This pair of magical shoes was crafted by the designer Christian Louboutine in honor of the Disney’s animation “Cinderella”.  They are the perfect match with the animated shoes of the princes and are made of silk and crystals.

#2 Witch craft

#5 Richard Reed
His pair of shoes became famous because he used it to hide an explosive inside. The bomb was intended to blow a plane. Later after the incident the shoe inspection at the airports became a must. The Richard Reed’s shoes are reason for the essential search policy on many airports.

#4 Cinderella’s shoes
I am not talking here for some fancy model of Christian Louboutin, but for the crystal shoes from the famous Disney animation. The shoes that the princess lost and become a reason for her to find her one and true love still evokes memories in most of the girls and women around the world.

#3 Nicholas Ceausescu
The former president of Romania, Nicholas Ceausescu is known by his iron and tyrannical rule over the Romanian people. However apart from this he is famous for his love of shoes. It might come as a surprise however the most famous fetishist shoes are the ballet boots.

The ballet boots are contemporary style of fetish footwear. The boots resemble the ballerina shoes, however aided with long slender heel.

The shoes are constructed by 18 centimeters high heel. The wearer foot should be fully pointed in
the shoe.  The boots are usually rising in knee-high and thigh-high versions. The boots might have
zippers and might allow mobility restriction for extra fetishist experience. These shoes cannot be
wear for long time because they are lead to foot damages.

An ancestor to ballet boots and shoes is a Viennese fetish boot (circa 1900), which sported a dramatic 11-inch (28-centimetre) heel; the heel was actually longer than the sole of the shoe, thus making standing and/or walking impossible.

An interesting fact about these shoes is that they are pretty popular in Japan.
The usage of today ballet boots is connected mainly with fetishist acts of sexual gratification.
